Throughout Downtown Miami, you’ll find many street-facing boutiques and retail shops. When you are looking for a gift, Flagler Street is the place to go for beautiful jewelry. The waterfront Bayside Marketplace has great restaurants and shopping and offers boat tours and live music events. The Miami World Center is an ultra-modern shopping venue with a European vibe. Things to Do

There are many things to see and do in Downtown Miami. Bayfront Park is a 32-acre green space that is appropriately named, sitting beside Biscayne Bay. The park is a great place for picnics, sports, relaxation, and exercise. There’s also a beach area, winding paths, a gorgeous fountain, a tropical garden, and outdoor performance venues. 
 
The 21-acre Maurice A. Ferre Park is another welcoming green space that is also the site of the city’s two museums, the Peréz Art Museum Miami and the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science. The park is a great place for walking, biking, relaxing, or enjoying performances at the outdoor amphitheater. Maurice A. Ferre Park is also the site of the Ultra Music Festival. Pace Park, located in the Arts & Entertainment District, is another waterfront park on Biscayne Bay. The park offers tennis courts, fitness equipment, and dog parks. 
 
Perez Art Museum Miami is a contemporary art gallery with a waterfront bar and restaurant. The Miami Science Museum is a great place for children to explore. It has hands-on science and wildlife exhibits and a planetarium. Although Downtown Miami is very modern, it also has a fascinating history. Miami Circle is an archaeological site believed to be the remains of a structure built 1700 - 2000 years ago by the Tequesta Indians. The Historical Museum of Southern Florida is another fantastic venue. It hosts the Culture Fest and a Summer Passport Program for kids. 
 
Sports fans and concert-goers flock to the multipurpose Miami Heat and FTX Arena to cheer on the Miami Heat and enjoy live concerts and performances. For a rich cultural experience, residents attend musical performances, ballet, opera, and theatrical performances at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
